2015 Knockout Tournament – April 18-19, 2015

Come to NSC and enjoy a weekend of fun and hockey on April 18TH AND 19TH, 2015. The tournament will consist of a 1 day knockout on April 18 followed by semi-finals and finals on April 19. Please see the schedule below


APRIL 18 2015

  1. 9AM – Ravens 1 vs. Canaries

  2. 11AM – Ravens 2 vs. Swallows

  3. 1PM – Longtail Canaries vs. Wildcats

  4. 3PM – Budgies vs. Bluebirds

APRIL 19 2015

A. 9AM- Winner of 1 plays winner of 4

B. 11AM- Winner of 2 plays winner of 3

  • 1PM – Men’s game

  • 3PM – Women’s final (winner of A plays winner of B)

Thank you Catlin, volunteers, judges and voters for making this year’s Charity Christmas Tree Competition a success.

Vote For Us!!! Catlin Charity Christmas Tree Event 2014

Out and about in Hamilton???

Have a look at our BHF Christmas Tree located on the new extension of Washington Mall on the upper floor.

We are competing for a grand prize of $2,500, a second-place prize of $1,000 and third-place prize of $750. The winning tree will be determined by a panel of judges and announced on Dec. 22. There is also a People’s Choice Award for the best tree (VOTE BHF!!!) with a $1,500 prize at stake. Voting slips are located near the trees and voting runs until December 19.

With its remote mid-Atlantic location and relatively small population of approximately 65,000 people on its 26 square miles, it is perhaps surprising to see that field hockey does, in fact, exist in Bermuda. In addition to its subtropical climate and pink sand beaches, it is fortunate enough to have use of the government run, water based AstroTurf facilities located at National Sports Centre, 50 Frog Lane, Devonshire.

Field hockey has been a popular sport for both locals and expatriate population. On a world stage, their National team and Federation teams have played in the Pan American Cups, Inter Island Competition and CAC Games.
